Meet the real faces of business

Local business owners’ partner together to launch ‘real5 Faces’; showcasing the real faces of businesses in the hopes that it will encourage people to keep it local.

Ambitious real5 Networking founder, Andrew Hibbert, and Ian Cox, Centre Director of Warrington’s very own Golden Square, have teamed up to put business owners at the forefront during this unprecedented time.

The website www.real5faces.com, created by real5 Digital, is accessible by all to browse the faces behind real businesses and delve deeper by taking a look at the individual profiles and stories.

By emphasising the people rather than the businesses, Andrew and Ian are hoping to encourage everyday consumers to shop local wherever possible.

The unique profiles make it clear to see that it is real, everyday people who are working hard to provide services and products to the community. It is those same mothers, fathers, uncles and connected family members who will benefit when you support local businesses over corporate entities.

The launch comes at a time where restrictions are beginning to slowly ease in the UK and global companies are beginning to re-open, making it more important than ever to shop locally and stay loyal to the businesses that have been working hard during lockdown to provide our community with fresh food, locally distilled gin and other products and services.

The concept of connecting businesses, people and the wider community does not come new to either Andrew or Ian, who are passionate about creating new opportunities and experiences for our town.

The unforgiving situation we find ourselves in has shown the importance of pulling together and supporting each other; through spending money locally, in our town centre and for our own local businesses, we can help businesses get through this difficult period and continue to flourish in what will be our new version of normal.

“With Golden Square being part of the real5 Network it was a no brainer for us to collaborate on this initiative. The beauty of this town is in its people and it’s vitally important that we focus on those individuals who provide a variety of wonderful products and services throughout the town.

real5 Faces is about understanding the story behind the shop front and how you can make a difference through thinking local with your pound.”
