Who are you?
How did the business come about?
I wanted to create a networking business that rewarded people for being proactive, that had events where people actually enjoyed themselves in a relaxed sociable environment and where we could raise money for local charities. I wanted there to be a focus on local businesses supporting each other so we can all gain together.

Just over 2 years
How many people do you employ?
2 and we have 150 members
My home town, I’m extremely proud of Warrington and to have been born here, grown up here and now owning and running businesses in the town gives me a lot of pride.
What job or achievement makes you most proud?
Winning the High Sheriffs Award for best Micro Enterprise in Cheshire last month
Tell us one interesting thing about you that people might not know?
The company name real5 networking comes from my family’s names. My wife Rachel and our children Ethan, Amber and Lizzy, there’s 5 of us!

What is your ‘get through lockdown tip’?
Learn to accept it, the sooner you get comfortable with it things get a lot easier to deal with. Regular exercise is key and treat yourself at the weekend.
